At Uddingston Physiotherapy we specialise in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. This means we assess and treat injury and pain in the joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerves. We take a ‘hands on’ approach to treatment and use a variety of techniques determined by the results of your assessment. We use massage, soft tissue techniques (including joint mobilisation, muscle energy techniques, stretching, PNF, manipulation and more), acupuncture, electrotherapy and exercise prescription to treat and rehabilitate your problem.
All our Physiotherapists are fully qualified and are HCPC, CSP and AACP registered and have enhanced disclosure checks. We have both female and male therapists to ensure you feel comfortable and relaxed as you will often have to partially undress, although we will maintain your modesty and comfort at all times.

When you arrive for the first time you will be asked to fill in a form for your medical records, any information we take from you is kept confidentially and is only used in relation to your treatment. You will be greeted by your therapist and taken to a private treatment room where the therapist will ask about your problem and you will be physically assessed and treatment will be discussed and administered. You may also be given a home exercise programme to work on in between sessions. The therapist will advise you on whether further treatments are needed.
